Infortainment and Technology Features
A 7.0-inch colour TFT multi-information display is standard across all models. Plus, it comes with a head-up display. A 10.2-inch central infotainment display with a touchpad comes standard, too. It supports 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspots, Bluetooth streaming, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Exterior Design
Acura’s signature Diamond Pentagon front grille and the Jewel Eye LED headlights introduce the sporty exterior of the RDX. Wide air intakes above the front bumper allow air to channel efficiently across the wheels. Plus, the prominent sharp bulges add character to the SUV. Standard wheels are 19-inch aluminum alloys on the base trim and 20-inch on the higher trims.
Interior Design and Cargo Space
Inside the RDX, the cabin has many buttons, a rotary drive mode selector and a touchpad. The build quality is excellent, thanks to the standard features. These include ambient lighting, heated power-adjustable front seats, and dual-zone climate control.
The interior feels luxurious and sporty with a high driving position. The cargo area can hold 835 litres, and with the rear seats folded, it goes up to 1,668 litres.
Performance Features
A 2.0-litre, 16-valve, direct injection, DOHC VTEC turbocharged four-cylinder engine is standard across all models. Together with a 10-speed automatic transmission, it provides 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque.
This engine consumes 11 L/100 km when driving on city roads, and on highways 8.6 L/100 km. Plus, it comes with a towing capacity of up to 1,500 pounds.
Safety and Driver Assistant Features
Several innovative safety features are available on the RDX. The driver assistance features, such as blind spot information and rear cross-traffic monitor systems, help enhance driver awareness.
